IASTA hosted the 4th Asian Aerosol Conference in Mumbai, India, during December, 13-16 2005. The conference which opened with a keynote address by Late Dr. Friedlander, saw a proactive participation of experts, authorities, and researchers related to the field of aerosols.

The conference with various plenary sessions, tutorials, platform presentations, and poster sessions, addressed an expanse of interests ranging from the fundamental sciences to the applied technologies. It brought together, on a single platform, the interdisciplinary aerosol community including the leading scientist, engineers, industries, and students from across the globe.
