Accommodations will be available in selected hotels at concessional rates for IASTA delegates. A limited number of hostel/guesthouse accommodations will be available exclusively for students on a first-come, first-served basis. All delegates are responsible for covering their own accommodation expenses.
Travel Information
Kolkata is well connected to the rest of the country and internationally by rail, air, and road. The nearest airport to the conference venue, IIT Kharagpur Research Park in New Town, Kolkata, is the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, just a short road trip of roughly 10 to 15 kilometers away. The nearest major suburban and mainline railway station is Bidhan Nagar Road (BNXR) or Kolkata (KOAA) railway stations, located about 12 to 14 km away. The Howrah railway junction is about 19 kms by road.
